Plano Bike Trails #4: Legacy Trail

Legacy Trail is a 4.4 mile North/South trail that goes from Rasor Park to West Spring Creek Parkway, culminating at Windhaven Meadows Park. This is a very pretty trail that follows White Rock Creek, and even though it’s not super long, you can still get in a pretty long ride if you connect with other trails. I usually take Chisholm Trail to Bluebonnet Trail, and then cross Preston and make my way over to Legacy Trail. At Rasor Park, the North part of this trail connects to Preston Ridge Trail. So another fun route is to go up one of those trails and then come back down the other, to keep things interesting. This trail goes behind Children’s Medical Center and a lot of nice office buildings, as well as some apartment complexes, so a lot of people have access to it. Many people also come to this trail from Windhaven Meadows Park.
